Wall Mounted Fume Extractors provide a compact and highly modular solution for removing airborne fumes, smoke, dust and particulates directly at the source.

Designed for environments where floor space and workstation efficiency are critical, these self-contained air filtration systems combine powerful airflow performance with high-efficiency filtration to help improve workplace air quality and operator safety.

Engineered for flexibility and ease of installation, wall mounted fume extractors can be mounted directly to a wall, welding booth or optional stand, allowing the filtration unit to remain off the work surface and out of the operator’s immediate workspace. This space-saving configuration makes them ideal for smaller production areas, laboratories, repair stations and industrial work environments where traditional floor-mounted extraction systems may not be practical.

What Is a Wall Mounted Fume Extractor?

A wall mounted fume extractor is a source-capture air filtration system specifically designed for small or limited workspace environments where localized air purification is required. These systems are typically self-contained and equipped with a flexible extraction arm that captures airborne contaminants near the source before they disperse into the surrounding environment.

By mounting the system directly to a wall or workstation structure, operators gain improved mobility and valuable floor and benchtop space while still maintaining effective contaminant capture and filtration.

How Does a Wall Mounted Fume Extractor Work?

Wall mounted fume extractors operate by drawing contaminated air through an adjustable source-capture arm and into an internal filtration chamber. The system’s high-powered motor pulls airborne contaminants away from the operator’s breathing zone where specialized filter media capture fumes, vapors, smoke and particulates before cleaned air is recirculated back into the workspace.

The system utilizes a dual-stage filtration process consisting of:

• A MERV 8 Pre-Filter for capturing larger particulates and extending HEPA filter life.

• A HEPA Filter rated up to 99.97% efficient on particles 0.3 micrometers and larger.

Depending on the application, other filtration configurations may include:

• HEPA filtration for fine particulate removal
• Activated carbon for chemical fumes and odors
• Specialty-blended media for targeted contaminant control
• Multi-stage filtration for combined particulate and vapor removal

Applications

Wall mounted fume extractors are commonly used in welding and soldering environments but are suitable for many industrial, laboratory and commercial applications requiring localized air filtration.
