The Online Digital Turbidity Sensor uses an advanced light scattering method, combining infrared absorption and infrared scattering.

Infrared light emitted from the source interacts with suspended particles in the sample, and the resulting scattered light is detected by a photodetector. This is then converted to an electrical signal, processed to yield an accurate turbidity reading through analog and digital signal processing.
