We strive to minimize our impact on the Earth by eliminating toxic materials from our manufactured goods, and by using recyclable materials wherever possible.

Purchasing Green
Like all companies, our purchasing decisions are influenced by costs. However, this is by no means the only factor we consider. At Sper Scientific, we make a conscious effort to ensure that we are purchasing from sustainable sources and choosing products that reduce the impact we have on the environment.

Reducing Waste
Sper Scientific addresses waste reduction by consuming and throwing away less, by purchasing durable, long-lasting goods, and seeking products and packaging that are free of toxic and non- biodegradable materials.

Packaging
Whenever possible, we reuse every carton that comes into our facility for shipping products to our customers.

Electronic Communications
Unless our customers absolutely demand otherwise, we send all our quotes, invoices and other communications via e-mail. This reduces paper waste as well as fuel emissions from delivery.

Reduced Printing
It is company policy that any document that does not need to be printed be created in electronic format only.

Paper Reuse
Paper that has already been printed on, but no longer holds value based on its content, is reused for fax and copy machines, and is also bound and used as office notebooks. Paper that contains confidential information, or that is printed on each side, is shredded and used as packing material.
