Within the UTS3015T+/UTS3032T+ class, choose by frequency reach (1.5 GHz vs 3.2 GHz). Within the UTS3036T+/UTS3084T+ class, choose 3.6 GHz or 8.4 GHz reach. Across classes the UTS3036T+/UTS3084T+ models add a 40,001-point sweep (4× the depth), six traces instead of four and PM demodulation in addition to AM/FM — confirm which class a model belongs to before assuming a shared specification.

The UTS3015T+ sweeps 9 kHz to 1.5 GHz and the UTS3032T+ to 3.2 GHz. Both carry a built-in tracking generator (−40 dBm to 0 dBm output, 0.5 dB resolution), so a swept frequency-response measurement on a filter or amplifier is set up on the analyzer itself rather than wired to an external generator.

Sensitivity for Weak-Signal Work

With the preamp enabled, typical displayed average noise level reaches −161 dBm (500 kHz to 200 MHz band). This is a shared series figure — both models hold the same typical noise floor at their respective top frequencies. A low noise floor is what lets a small signal be seen rather than buried, which matters for spur hunting and low-level emissions checks.

Resolution Bandwidth and Selectivity

RBW is settable from 1 Hz to 3 MHz in 1-3-10 steps. The < 4.8:1 (60 dB/3 dB) shape factor resolves adjacent signals of unequal amplitude — the case where a strong carrier would otherwise mask a nearby weak product.

10,001-Point Sweep
