The Sanwa PS8a is a pocket-size, foldable digital multimeter with solar charging capability.
PS8a digital multimeter comes with a 4000-count digital display and has an accuracy of 0.7%. The PS8a has a very similar design to the Sanwa PM7a digital multimeter, but the PS8a features an integrated solar panel as a secondary source to power the device.
The PS8a uses the Δ-Σ method for operation. It is a method for encoding analog signals into digital signals as found in an analog-to-digital converter (ADC). This digital multimeter can measure voltages, resistance, continuity, and diode test. The device also features data hold functionality to hold or pause a measurement on screen.
The PS8a has a power-saving design as it features auto-power off function that turns the device off after 15 minutes of no operation. The test leads in the multimeter are internally connected to the circuit board of the meter and cannot be removed.
Includes meter, instruction manual and test leads (attached).
