A precision, portable resistance tester for the inspection and maintenance of electrical construction work.
The Sanwa PDR302 is an analog earth-resistant tester with a phase detection system circuit for high precision measurement.
This meter is used for measuring the resistance of the earth since all the equipment of the power system is connected to the earth through the earth electrode. The earth protects the equipment and personnel from the fault current.
The PDR302 has an earth resistance measuring range of 10/100/1000Ω with an accuracy of ± 5 % of full scale for Ω x 1, or ± 2.5% of full scale for Ω x 10, Ω x 100 range. The device can measure a maximum AC leakage voltage of 30 Volts with an accuracy of 2.5% of full scale. The PDR302 also features an auxiliary grounding value LED indicator that lights at approx. 10kΩ or more.
The earth resistance measurement can be initiated with a simple push button, making the unit easy to use and eliminating wasteful battery consumption.
Meter includes: test leads, clips, earth bars and carrying cases.
- Phase detection system circuit for high precision measurement
- AC 30V range to avoid indication errors caused by leak current that flows to the earth
- Power saving design with push switch
- Auxiliary grounding value excess indicator lamp
