Sper Scientific’s Integrating Sound Datalogger measures and records sound pressure level (SPL) over time to calculate cumulative sound exposure (LEQ).
Sper Scientific’s Integrating Sound Datalogger measures sound pressure level (SPL) according to A or C weighting and integrates the weighted SPL over an established length of time (such as an 8-hour workday) to calculate cumulative sound exposure (LEQ). Test parameters are simultaneously displayed on a large, bright, backlit display, featuring 0.1 dB resolution and a bar graph. Up to 64,000 data records can be stored in the meter, saved, graphed, and processed on a computer through the USB interface and included software.
The bidirectional USB port and software also enable control of the meter via its on-screen image. Features include SPL and LEQsound level readings, fast and slow time weighting, A and C frequency weightings, and over-limit and under-limit alarms. A single dynamic 30 to 130 dB range eliminates the need to manually select ranges and prevents data errors during range changes in auto-ranging models. Accurate within ±1.0 dB, and meets or exceeds all other specs for an IEC 61672:2013 Class 2 and ANSI S1.4:2014 Type 2 meter. Calibrate in compliance with OSHA using Acoustical Calibrator 850016.
Comes in a foam-lined protective carrying case, complete with a windscreen, USB computer connection power cable, instructions, calibration tool, recorder output plug, and 4 AA batteries, which provide about 30 hours of use and free downloadable software.
