The Sanwa PM7a is a pocket-size digital multimeter with a unique foldable design.
This digital multimeter has a 4000-count display and has an accuracy of 0.7%. The device has a unique design that features an integrated protective casing that allows it to fold just like a flip phone. The device is designed to be portable and to be used for measuring weak current circuits. A similar unit is also available with integrated solar power backup (Sanwa PS8a).
The PM7a can pretty much do all the basic functions such as measuring voltage both AC(500Volts max) & DC(500 Volts max),resistance (40 mega-ohms max), continuity test with buzzer as well as diode test. It cannot however measure current.
The PM7a has a power-saving design with an auto power off feature that turns on after 15 minutes of inactivity. It consumes approximately 5mW of power and requires 2 LR44 (1.5V) coin style battery to operate.
Includes meter, instruction manual and test leads (attached).
