This spectrometer-based Sensor measures Nitrate Nitrogen (NO3-N) directly via its absorption of 210 nm UV light.

As water flows through the sensor slit, a portion of the light is absorbed by the sample, while the remaining light passes through, reaching the opposite side of the sensor. This absorption is used to calculate nitrate concentration.
