Every microplate shaker claims high performance and long life, but a closer look often tells a different story.
Many shakers on the market rely on low-grade components and weak motors that can’t handle extended use, leading to frequent maintenance, inconsistent performance, and poor mixing results. Insufficient orbital motion and underpowered drives further compromise sample integrity, making reliable results difficult to achieve.
Oxford Lab Products designed the SPM Microplate Shaker to solve these issues from the ground up. Built around a brushless DC motor, the SPM delivers smooth, consistent, and maintenance-free operation for years of dependable service. Precision microprocessor control ensures accurate speed and time settings, while the compact design conserves valuable bench space and allows use inside cold rooms and incubators up to 40°C.
With its variable speed and timer settings, built-in counterbalance, and user-friendly digital display, the SPM is engineered for both performance and convenience. Optional USB connectivity allows data logging and remote operation—ideal for demanding laboratory environments where consistency and repeatability matter most.
- Powerful brushless DC motor for quiet, maintenance-free performance and long life.
- Variable speed control from 300 to 1800 rpm for a wide range of mixing applications.
- Microprocessor-controlled operation ensures precision and repeatability.
- Inbuilt counterbalance provides stable motion and vibration-free performance.
- Variable timer control from 1 to 99 minutes, plus continuous “infinite” mode.
- Compact footprint saves bench space and allows use inside cold rooms or incubators (up to 40°C).
- Turn-down toggle mechanism allows easy, spill-free loading and removal of microplates.
- Clamp-tool-free design enables quick, effortless clamp changes.
