Visible Light Meters

Visible light meters, or photometers, are instruments designed to measure the intensity of visible light. These devices are crucial for various applications, including photography, cinematography, occupational health and safety and the study of environmental light conditions. They can help ensure proper lighting levels in workplaces, schools and public spaces, as well as in agricultural settings to monitor light conditions for optimal plant growth.Visible light meters typically measure light intensity in units of lux (lumens per square meter) or foot-candles (lumens per square foot). Advanced models add features such as data logging, spectrum analysis and connectivity options for data sharing and analysis.
